Cognos dashboards for principals and school administratorsA special two-day seminar helps principals and school administrators create their Cognos dashboard and learn how to use Cognos to support their data-based decision-making practices every day. The seminar includes:
- An introduction to Cognos
- Examples of Cognos reports and their effective use for decision-making
- Time to develop a plan for your building's use of Cognos and data for decisions
- An opportunity to network and share ideas with other principals and school administrators
- Extensive hands-on time with your own school's data in Cognos
Seminar schedule
An in-district seminar can be scheduled for principals and other school administrators.
Participating principals and administrators are encouraged to send key data support staff to Cognos workshops. The support staff must complete the workshop before the second day of the principal and school administrator seminar to ensure that seminar participants have a completed dashboard to work with on second day of the seminar.
