Marci D. Anderson is the Clerk of the Anoka-Hennepin School Board of which she has been a member since 2008. Before being elected to the board, Ms. Anderson was an active member of the Anoka-Hennepin Parent Legislative team and has volunteered extensively with the Girl Scouts and Blaine Soccer Club. She is an Assistant Vice President of Bell Mortgage Company. |
John Currie is retired superintendent of Independent School District 196, where he has also served as a principal, director of human resources, director of secondary education and interim superintendent. Before coming to ISD 196, he was teacher, coach, district staff development coordinator, technology director, assistant principal and principal. |
Dr. Barbara Devlin (Executive Committee Treasurer) is a retired superintendent of Richfield Public Schools. Before serving in Richfield, she was superintendent of Elementary District 45 in Villa Park, Illinois; held several administrative posts in the Minnetonka Public Schools and the Metropolitan Area Educational Cooperative Service Unit; and taught high school classes in Worthington. |
Dr. Ric Dressen is superintendent of Edina Public Schools. Before serving in Edina, he was a superintendent in Alexandria and Waconia. He also is past president of the Minnesota Association of School Administrators and chaired the Minnesota Education Finance Reform Task Force. Dr. Dressen is an adjunct professor at St. Mary's University of Minnesota. |
Joe Grafft (Executive Committee Vice Chair) is a member of the District 831 Forest Lake School Board and manager of emergency medical services for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Office of the Chancellor. Mr. Grafft has been actively involved in education for over 30 years, including as a teacher in the Minneapolis Public Schools and at Spring Lake Park Senior High. |
Daniel W. Luth (Executive Committee Clerk) is chair of the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School Board, of which he has been a member since 2001. He is a senior technology manager for enterprise portals at United Health Group. |
Dr. John W. Schultz is superintendent of the Hopkins Public Schools. Holding three degrees from the University of Minnesota, he served as a classroom science teacher in the Hopkins schools and as an associate principal at Eden Prairie High School. He also lectures in science education at the University of Minnesota. |
Mark A. Robertson is the interim executive director of the Northwest Suburban Integration School District. He was superintendent of the Fridley Public Schools from 2003 to 2009. His experiences in education include working as a science teacher, staff developer, activities director, associate principal, high school principal and adjunct professor of education.
