A program designed for superintendents to work with each other in some sessions, with their administrative teams in others and with a personal coach for technology skill development.
Superintendents   Administrative Leadership
A unique opportunity to build technology leadership skills, the academy offers superintendents the opportunity to come together with their peers for:   Designed to help superintendents and their technology team work together to build their knowledge and skills to create 21st-century learning environments for students, these administrative leadership sessions seek to:
  • Sharing of best practices
  • Exploring new technologies
  • One-to-one skill development based on 21st-century skills
  • Discussing the ideas of innovative thinkers as expressed in current books
 
  • Increase personal and district skill levels in technology leadership
  • Build the technology leadership capacity of each district leadership team
  • Share experiences with other leaders using Web 2.0 tools
Private coaching by TIES staff will be available for building personal skills through personal training.   This professional development program is based on CoSN's Empowering the 21st-Century Superintendent.
 
All academy sessions are at TIES Conference Center.
